Physiotherapy education celebrated its 70th anniversary – See the photo gallery

SAMK’s physiotherapy education is celebrating a 70-year milestone this year. To celebrate the anniversary, the programme organised a celebration seminar.

Leena Nolvi and Jussi Törmälä, who were involved in the planning of the new studies, are satisfied with the result.

Two languages, one group: reforming mechanical engineering studies

In the future, students of the two degree programmes in Mechanical Engineering, both the one with Finnish and the one with English as the language of tuition, will study together. The common language for the degree programmes will predominantly be English.

On the national Children’s day at Work, almost fifty children of employees was seen at the Pori Campus of SAMK. The children range in age from 2 to 14 years old.

39 students graduated from SAMK in October

Altogether 39 students graduated from SAMK in October. Six of them completed a Bachelor’s degree in English. SAMK congratulates all the graduates.

The Career Monitoring Survey for 2019 graduates is underway

The target group of the survey includes all 29,000 graduates from bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in universities of applied sciences in 2019. The nationwide career monitoring survey provides up-to-date employment information for higher education institutions.

Altogether 55 students graduated from SAMK in September. 10 of them graduated with a Master’s degree. SAMK congratulates all the graduates.
