International SAMK in a nutshell
Our international activities include many international degree programmes in different disciplines, student and staff mobility opportunities, international research projects and networks, internationalisation at home activities, interesting language and communication studies, double degree programmes, pathway studies, winter and summer schools and a wide range of support services for international degree students.
International Relations Office provides guidance and support for students to undertake exchanges, placements and double degrees abroad. In addition, students receive information about mobility grants and most suitable options for going abroad from our office.
International Relations Office develops international university partnerships and manages international student exchange and other mobility. SAMK has partner universities around the world and we participate in several networks and exchange programmes, such as Erasmus+, Nordplus and Magellan. We also have many bilateral agreements with universities around the world.
There are over 1000 international degree students from 100 different nationalities studying at SAMK. International Relations Office provides guidance and advice on non-study related issues for international degree students already before arrival and during their studies too. After arrival e.g. preorientation week and support with social integration are emphasized at SAMK.
SAMK too hosts international visitors and delegations all year around.
