What does your studies involve?
The degree programme in Mechanical Engineering gives you in-depth knowledge of the operation and design of mechanical equipment, project work and management, manufacturing methods, production and materials. Together, these form a solid foundation for a mechanical engineering specialist.
At SAMK you will learn to combine theory with practice. Studies progress from basic studies to professional studies and end with advanced professional studies and a thesis. They also provide a good basis for further studies. Field-specific practical training adds to your competence and helps you become a specialist in your field.

Studies take place on campus
Studies are conducted during daytime on Monday-Friday on SAMK campus in Pori. Studying requires full-time studying and presence on our campus. There are not online studies available for this degree programme.
