RefWorks Online Citation Management

RefWorks allows you to create and organize a personal citation database and format bibliographies.

CREATE A NEW USER ACCOUNT

First create a new user account. Go to https://lillukka.samk.fi/login?url=http://refworks.com/refworks. Select Sign up for an Individual Account and fill in the form. Please note that RefWorks accepts only e-mail provided by SAMK.  Select Register.

You'll receive an e-mail with your username, password and Group Code. Save this information. You may need the Group Code for off-campus access in some cases.

USING REFWORKS

Go to https://lillukka.samk.fi/login?url=http://refworks.com/refworks. Login first with SAMK ID, if needed. Then use your personal username to login to Refworks.

REFWORKS 2.0

A new interface, RefWorks 2.0 is available. Once you’re in the new interface, you can click “RefWorks Classic” to reload the old. The data in your account is not affected when you switch back and forth. See tutorials.
